About Our Assorted Vegetable Platter

Everything on the platter is fried to order, which matters more than it sounds: samosa pastry stays crisp rather than going soft, and the gram-flour batter on the pakoras keeps its crunch instead of steaming itself limp under a lid.

You get three distinct things rather than three versions of the same idea — the spiced filling of a veg samosa, the vegetable pakoras, and paneer pakoras with their soft cheese centre — plus chutneys to move between them. It is the most-shared appetiser at our table and travels well on takeout orders across Bowness and northwest Calgary.
